Blown away? Us too, so let’s go over the whole deal with this. Volkswagen is transitioning to electric powertrains to maximize values before the rest of its competition gets there. So that means Lambo may have to pack it’s bags. Rumors say that VW has already started the process of turning Lamborghini into a separate entity and will be finished by the end of the year. The Urus has had lots of success since it’s release, making Lamborghini an 11 billion dollar company. So selling it will give VW a lot of cash to play with. Volkswagen says that it wants to focus on Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche. So what does this mean for Lambo? Well, VW really brought them up to the company they are today. So could this mean a downfall for them? Or are they solidified enough brand to remain on their own? We’ll find out soon enough.
